I always prefer dry graphite over grease because Grease is typically a thicker, stickier substance that can be messy to work with, and it can also attract dirt and debris, leading to the potential for increased wear and other problems.

Although I do love dry graphite lubricant over grease and oil, there are a few bad things that you should know. End of the day, my aim is to give you a clear view of things so that you feel you are in a better position to make your final decision.

This is because the powder-like substance easily smudges and spreads when rubbed, leaving behind a trail of grey or black stains. 

Important Point: If the graphite gets embedded in the fabric fibers, it can be difficult to remove even with repeated washing. In some cases, attempting to remove the graphite can actually cause the stain to spread and become more difficult to remove.
